Hurricane Restaurant-Dock Square

               Kennebunkport-Maine

Perkins Cove Exterior
Waterside Dining along the Kennebunk River

Dock Square, Kennebunkport, is home to the newest Hurricane Restaurant on the Coast of Maine. Our dining room sits on pilings and hangs (safely) over the Kennebunk River, offering panoramic views of the river and the Lower Village of Kennebunk. Coincidentally, prior to our moving in, the building was home to the River view Restaurant for over 50 years, and Hurricane owner Brooks MacDonald started his career in this very kitchen. (See our Almanac history.) Hurricane, Dock Square, features the same great wine list and many of the original Hurricane's signature dishes, but our world class chef and sugar-mad pastry chef in Kennebunkport have added a few of their own special creations. Our experienced and attentive staff eagerly awaits your presence in our dining room. Kennebunkport is the summer home of former President George Bush and features dozens of shops and galleries. The whole family will enjoy a stroll around, this, one of Maine's most picturesque villages. We are located just on the left as you cross the bridge into the village. There's a municipal parking lot right out our back door. Watch for the signs as you enter the square.
